Top Care COVID-19 Update

In accordance with Australian Public Health advice, people should be isolated for 14 days if they traveled from oversea.

Top Care Medical asks that individual who has international travel within the 14 days or close or casual contact within the 14 days with a confirmed case of CONVID-19 DO NOT attend clinic before phone contact with us 03 9887 0339, stay at home and continuing to screen yourself.

Individual who begin experiencing clinical signs of viral respiratory symptoms (sore throat, fever or cough) please call Victoria Coronavirus Hot-Line seeking advise or attend ‘Fever Clinics’ for COVID-19 screening/testing.

Also, in Victoria there are sever ‘fever clinics’ open to public, the detail of ‘fever clinics’ are list as below:

Box Hill Hospital

  • Advise patient they MUST NOT present to the Emergency Department
  • Enter the Screening Clinic via ENTRANCE D on Thames Street, Box Hill through the transit lounge
  • No appointment or prior phone call is needed, just turn up
  • Current hours are 10am – 6pm. This is subject to change

The Alfred Hospital (City)

  • Enter via Emergency Department as a separate clinic has been set up there
  • 55 Commercial Road Melbourne
  • No set times as yet
  • No appointment or prior phone call is needed, just turn up

Monash Medical Centre Clayton

  • No appointment or prior phone call is needed, just turn up
  • Clinic is found at 239 Clayton Road, Clayton
  • Current hours are 10am – 6pm 7 days a week

Austin Hospital Heidelberg

  • Not a drop in service
  • Will turn away patients that have no symptoms
  • Must call the Coronavirus Hotline before attending clinic

Royal Melbourne Hospital Parkville

(Waiting message advises patient to hang up and call local GP if calling in regard to COVID-19)

  • Can only attend once they have seen GP clinic and they advise to attend the clinic for COVID-19 screening/testing
  • Open 10am-6pm 7 days a week

Northern Hospital

  • Only has fever clinic (phone triage)
  • Currently has no COVID-19 screening/testing clinic
  • Patients can only call fever clinic if they have fever, even if they have travelled overseas recently – 8405 8844


Sunshine Hospital

  • Can only attend COVID-19 screening/testing clinic if they have:
  • Sore throat, fever, cough (can have 1 or all symptoms)
  • Overseas travel in the 14 days before the onset of illness
  • Close contact with a known or suspected COVID-19 case

If they do not fit this criteria they will be turned away
